Setting up was very easy, plugged the system in and was very pleased at how easy everything was, speakers plug straight into the back and is very neat.
The system itself is bigger than a micro system, but still fairly small in comparison to much larger hifi systems you can buy, or may already have. I was a bit unsure as to whether this system would perform, but WOW was I suprised. I first put in a mp3 cd I made myself, and pressed play, i'm one of these people who has to be impressed straight away otherwise I doubt things, but as soon as that first song played, I knew this was it! The remote control provided is excellent, packs loads of features. It comes in useful when your laying down and cant be bothered to move, to change a song!!
For a small system, my god this stereo really is LOUD and very powerful, it comes with preset eq's but I use the manual eq for personal preference, the sound is excellent, very clear and simular to my bose headphones, the bass is perfect very powerful no distortion at the top end either. I have a large house and was really shocked to find it filled the whole house with precision sound. The system comes with a surround sound mode, which is very useful as it widens the effect and well surrounds you in music. The bass boost button is great, to add that extra thump to the bass. This system also has very clever technology which reduces the volume only slightly is it detects distorion to give you maximum sound quality. The FM/AM, USB and AUX features are also very good, usb is so easy to use, just plug it in and it reads it like a CD!
To sum up this review, this system is great value for money, you cant go wrong with Panasonic, and the sound quality is amazing, you will regret this if you DONT buy it now!.. as they say "the best things come in small packages"
